Completed Books of 2013*

*I know I make too many lists but I like lists.
  1. The Catcher in the Rye by J.D. Salinger
(I read this in high school and I don't know why but it just didn't click with me, which is funny because Franny and Zooey is one of my favorite books of all time. But re-reading it now it was brilliant. Maybe because I have a different mindset but I'm glad I re-read it.)

  2. 1984 by George Orwell (brilliant)

  3. The Awakening by Kate Chopin (another one that I read in high school that I'm glad I re-read)

  4. American Gods by Neil Gaiman (Please please please read Neil Gaiman if you haven't. I really wish someone told me about him in high school I think it would have made it so much better)

  5. Perfume: The Story of a Murderer by Patrick Suskind (This is a brilliant book but I will say that I'm glad I watched the movie before I read it - also if you haven't watched the movie I highly suggest you do because it's just amazing. I also suggest you watch everything Ben Whishaw has ever been in.)
(Currently reading: The Pillars of the Earth by Ken Follett and You Get So Alone at Times it Just Makes Sense by Charles Bukowski)

P.S. Every time I go to the book store I mean to buy books for my challange but then I get distracted by other books so I end up buying them and not the ones that I'm trying to complete. But I have a whole year and it's only the second month. I will get through the challenge!
P.P.S I am reading Stardust by Neil Gaiman when I'm done with Pillars.
